Ruth A. Timm, 90, Bellevue, formerly of New Holstein, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born December 14, 1930, to the late Alwin and Alma (Kriehn) Nickel. Ruth attended Zion Lutheran Elementary School in Morrison and graduated from De Pere High School. She married Herbert Timm on September 15, 1951. Ruth was involved with Girl Scouts as a troop leader as well as Avon sales for several years. She went on to own and operate the Kleiderhaus, a men's clothing store in New Holstein. Ruth had a sparkling personality, and with her fun-loving persona, she drew many people to her. She was an avid Packers fan and liked to bake for her family. Ruth was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, De Pere. She is survived by her children; Judith (Doug Marquart) Timm, Suzanne (Mike) Smith, David Timm, and Dennis (Stacey) Timm. Grandchildren; Alex Timm, Sarah Timm and Johnathan Timm. Ruth is also survived by her siblings; Robert (Bette) Nickel, Richard (Eleanor) Nickel, and Helen Nickel. Sister-in-law Lillian Heuser, and Brother-in-law Art (Betty) Timm, as well nieces, nephews, and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Herbert, as well as her sisters Dorothy Nickel and Lois Nickel and sister-in-law Shirley Woelfel and brothers-in-law Clarence Woelfel and Ronald Heuser. Friends may visit after 9:00AM Monday, June 7th at Hope Lutheran Church, 700 S. Superior Street, De Pere, until time of service at 11:00AM with Pastor Matthew Baye officiating. Burial will take place at Kunesh Cemetery. Nickel Funeral Home, Morrison is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
