Obituary

Richard L. Steinke, 71, of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Richard was born March 20, 1950. The son of the late Charles and Hazel (Fick) Steinke. Richard drove Manitowoc Taxi Cabs for many years, until retirement. He enjoyed fishing trips to Door County, going out on his boat and loved his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; Gloria (Paul) Graupner, Nancy (Stan) Surk, Kathy (Donald) Graupner, Dawn Steinke, and Charles Steinke, Kenneth (Jenny) Steinke; his nieces, Johanna (Jim), Samantha (Jeff), Crystal (Jim), Tina, Shannon (Scott), and Caroline (Scott); his nephews, Neil (Kristin), Scott (Jessica), Paul, Shawn (Adrienne), Trevor, and Dakota; his uncles and aunts, Dora (Jerry) Ficks and Joan (Don) LeCaptain. A few special great nieces and nephews to his heart Adaya, Abigail, Brayden, (JJ), Stephanie, and Jennifer. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Hazel Steinke; and sister, Terrie (John) Bruechert. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Nickel Funeral Home, 7101 Morrison Road at during the visitation hours 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM.
