Mark Allen Lemke, 66, Greenleaf, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023. He was born on February 8, 1957 in Green Bay to Elroy and Dolores (Becker) Lemke.
Growing up, Mark was always a hard worker. He graduated from Wrightstown High School. Mark spent most of his career in farming where he raised veal calves. Mark also spent his early career picking up milk from farmers and drove truck over the road. He was a natural when it came to farming and working the land. In retirement he worked part time for Country Aire. For a time, he was a bartender at the Slammer Inn where he enjoyed seeing many of his friends.
Mark enjoyed riding motorcycle. He rode his bike to all 48 states. Mark enjoyed going to car shows and recently fulfilled his dream of owning a Camaro. Mark also enjoyed going to casinos and spending time with friends.
He is survived by his siblings, Roy and Kathy Lemke, Ronald and Mary Lemke, Carol and Wayne Schinke, Mary and Glenn Laabs, Joy & Gary Koomen; nieces and nephews, Bill Lemke, Vicki Lemke, Tom and Jamie Lemke, Christopher and Carrie Lemke, Heather and Ben Voeltz, Jennifer & Tony Quartano, Samuel Schinke and fiancé Alyssa Hartman, James and Cathy Laabs, Jacquelyn and Michael Feldkamp, Jolene and Matthew Krueger, Amanda and Charles Novitski, Christy and Tom Pavlik, John and Michelle Koomen, and Shannon Koomen; as well as other members of his extended family.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Elroy and Dolores and sister, Judy Lemke as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles and other extended family.
Family and friends may visit at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S Webster Ave, Green Bay, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Joshua Errer officiating. Burial will take place at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Morrison.
