The Lord called Margaret Wendt to her eternal home on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. By the grace of God, she reached the age of 95.
Margaret was born on August 14, 1926, to the late Arnold and Laura (Schroeder) Kluender. She was baptized in the Christian faith on September 18, 1926 and confirmed on March 17, 1940. On May 15, 1949, she married Raymond Wendt at Zion Lutheran Church in Morrison. Margaret was a member of Morrison Zion Lutheran Church.
Margaret worked at True Value Hardware in De Pere for many years.
Her greatest joy was gathering with her family and playing cards with friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Stencil and husband Paul Grathen, son Bruce Wendt and wife Julie Bixby-Wendt, son-in-law Jay Falck; grandchildren Stephanie (Pankaj) Saluja, Jennifer (Zachary) Neal, Nicole (Nick) Trebesch, Eric Wendt, Megan Wendt (fiancé Jordan Massart) and Matthew Wendt; her great-grandchildren Logan, Emily and Charlie Trebesch, Hazel Massart, Aiden Saluja and a sixth great-grandchild expected in 2023.
Margaret is further survived by her sisters Florence Hafeman, Dolores Springstube and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, daughter Debra Falck, grandson Chadwick Stencil, sisters Hazel Kluender and Mabel Kluender and Raymond's family.
Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church, 7395 County Rd W in Morrison from 9:00AM – 10:45AM Saturday, July 30, 2022. Margaret's service will be held at 11:00AM with Pastor Randy Ott officiating.
