Lisa M. Sommers, 54, Wayside, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes on Monday afternoon, March 18, 2019. She was born July 9, 1964 to the late Raymond and Ethel (Kiefert) Sommers On February 15, 2018 she married Steve Boeder. Lisa spent her life following in the footsteps of her lifelong hero, her father, with training dogs; everything from show dogs to hunting dogs, she loved them all. Lisa had a love for children and for years ran the Town Hall Pre-school. She also worked therapy for autistic children and was a host to several foreign exchange students. She is survived by her husband Steve; daughter Brianna; her precious granddaughter Cora Lee; her siblings: Sue (Joe) Palus, Kathy Sommers (Geof Mariepte), Michael (Joann) Sommers, and Mary (Mark) Wanezek. She is further survived by Steve's family: Roger (Carol) Boeder, Scott (Michelle) Boeder, and Kevin (Laura) Boeder; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends may visit from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Nickel Funeral Home, 7101 Morrison Rd, Greenleaf, WI 54126. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM with Fr.
