Karl H. Ihlenfeldt, age 85, resident of Greenleaf, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, July 23, 2022. He was born November 1, 1936, the son of the late Edward and Malinda (Wegner) Ihlenfeldt.
Karl attended Zion Lutheran Grade School and De Pere High School. He married Lou Ashley on August 25, 1963, in Morrison WI at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church. He was a dairy farmer for most of his life. Karl was active in the church choir and served many roles at his church.
After retiring from farming, Karl enjoyed cutting lawn especially at Hilly Haven Golf Course. He loved being outdoors and playing sheepshead with family and friends.
Karl is survived by his his wife, Lou; sons, Paul (Jackie), John (Sarah), Mark (Wendy); grandchildren and great-grandsons, Amanda (Brian) Enter, and Henry, Ashley (Kurt) Rathke, and Otto, Jonathan, Hannah, Joshua (Nicole), Rachel, Leah, Rheise Jackson, Asher, and Asa; he is further survived by his siblings, Anna (Fred) Laack and Ruth Zeamer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth (Norman) Hafeman, Heidi Hafeman, Edward Ihlenfeldt Jr., and Mev Zeamer.
Visitation will begin at 2:00PM to 3:45PM on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church, (7395 County Rd W, Greenleaf, WI) Service will be held at 4:00PM with Pastor Randy Ott officiating.
