Gilbert Henry Siebert, age 89, of Wrightstown, passed away, November 21, 2017 with his wife by his bedside.
He was born on June 11, 1928 in Morrison, to the late William and Emma (Rathke) Siebert. On June 6, 1953 he married Eunice Schwahn at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church, Morrison.
Gilbert worked on the family farm and drove milk truck. In June of 1955 he started at Tecumseh as a machinist and retired after 37 years. He and Eunice vacationed after retirement and traveled with their children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Eunice; children, David Siebert, Faye (Don) Lorrigan, and Amy (Brian) Bowers. Grandchildren, Lisa (Geoff) Davis, Lori (Korey) Klister, Chad (Dana) Lorrigan, Jen (Rodd) Reichardt, Brittany (Trevor) Vetort, and Michaela Bowers, 12 great grandchildren and 1 sister, Sylvia Eichhorst.
Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Herbert and Meinhard Siebert, mother and father-in-law, and brother and sister-in-laws.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Zion Lutheran Church, Wayside, from 9 to 11 AM Friday, November 24, 2017 with service to follow. Entombment will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
