Gary K. Hagenow, age 70, of Neenah died on Tuesday March 15, 2022. He was born on March 31, 1951 in Green Bay, WI. He was the son of the late Hilary and Loleta (Lemke) Hagenow. He married Mary Ann Klug on November 6, 1971 at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church. Gary and Mary Ann were able to celebrate 50 years of marriage this past November.
Gary worked at Fort Howard Paper Company for 23 years before changing careers and operating a veal farm. Gary enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time watching his grandchildren participate in different sports and activities. Gary was a member of Riverview Lutheran Church in Appleton.
Gary is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, daughter Jessica (Jay) Baumbach, son Jason (Michaela) Hagenow, grandchildren Delaney and Derek Baumbach, Kaden, Mason, and Haddie Hagenow, Sister-in-law, Leanne (Gary) Radtke, Brother-in-law Don (Barb) Klug, Sister-in-law Sandy Hagenow, Sister-in-law Joanne Thomas, and a step sister Marilyn (Paul) Stier and other relatives and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Hilary and Loleta Hagenow, a sister Leah Hagenow, two brothers Darryl Hagenow and Roger Hagenow, step father Fritz Hagenow, his in-laws Marvin (Elnora) Klug, brother-in-law Robert Klug, a step sister and brother-in-law Marjorie (Eugene)Rausch, and a grandson Carter Hagenow.
Friends and family may visit at Morrison Zion Lutheran Church, 7395 County W, Greenleaf, beginning at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Belter and Rev. Timothy Wagner of Riverview Lutheran Church officiating.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Emerald Ridge Assisted living for the special care given to Gary and the entire family. Gary left this earth to enter the gates of Heaven, where his Heavenly Father and His angels wait for him with open arms. Gary will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
