Frederick J. "Fritz" Natzke, 81, Morrison, peacefully Polka Danced to Heaven on Monday evening, March 22, 2021 while listening to some of his favorite songs. He was born November 14, 1939 to the late Edward and Minnie (Lemke) Natzke. On August 1, 1959 he married his High School sweetheart Phyllis Wagner. Fritz worked at Ariens Mfg. for 29 years in the R&D Department. He was a long-time member of Zion Lutheran Church, Morrison. Fritz had been an active member of the Morrison community. He was a past president of the Way-Morr Lions, as well as a Captain with the Morrison Volunteer Fire Dept. He was often referred to as the "Mayor of Morrison", as not much went on without Fritz knowing about it. After retiring he would often be seen riding around town on his Ariens lawnmower or his golf cart, usually with his granddaughters or great granddaughters along side of him. He was so proud of them and loved to show them off. Even after all he went through, he always had a smile and positive outlook.
Fritz is survived by his wife Phyllis, daughter Terri (Steve) Compton, granddaughters; Kelly (Jonny) Morehouse, Amber Bowers, and Trisha Compton. Great grandchildren; Alaina, Ava, Holly, Josie, and Haley, as well as his brother Carl (Joyce) Natzke, his sister Carla Natzke, nephew Craig Natzke, and members of Phyllis's family. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Godson Ryan Natzke, and members of Phyllis's family.
