Eugene H. Parizek, 93, township of Morrison, Wisconsin died April 6, 2023 at Rennes Health and Rehab in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Eugene was born December 11,1929 to Edward Parizek and Viola (Wanek) Parizek in the township of Cooperstown, WI. He graduated from Mishicot High School in 1947. Gene served in the Army from 1951-1953. His overseas duty was a year in Germany. One of the highlights for Eugene was being on an Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington D.C. in 2015. This was also his first airplane flight.

On October 13, 1951 he married his forever sweetheart, Joyce Rose, in Mishicot, Wisconsin. They celebrated 71 years of marriage this past October. In 1955 Eugene bought the Rose family farm in Morrison. He ran the farm while working full time outside of the home. Eugene worked at the Brillion Iron Works for nearly 40 years. While at BIW he worked in various job positions as welder in farm machinery, tool and die, and others. After retirement Eugene held part time jobs with a local canning company, Kohl's Department Store and Progressive Farmers of DePere. Gene was never one to sit still; he was always doing something. He loved going into the woods to cut wood or working around outside or in his shed.

He was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church in Wayside, Wisconsin. He was one of the longest running ushers at Zion. Gene always said the week didn't start out right if he didn't attend church on Sunday.

Eugene was a one of a kind man that worked hard, loved his family and gave selflessly to many. He believed in a life of service. He was a friendly man that could make conversation with anyone. He made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed life.

Eugene was preceded in death by a son, Len Evan, his parents Edward and Viola Parizek, his in-laws, Carl and Ethel Rose, a brother Ronald Parizek and a sister Diane Augustine.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce. His children, Paul (Joy) Parizek, Kay (Darrel) Hansen, Glen (Meryl) Parizek, Jay (Patti Schamburek) Parizek, and Dean Parizek. Grandchildren: Darren Hansen, Kara Olson, Casey Parizek, Melissa Bell, Graig Parizek, Kevin Parizek, Tyler Parizek, Alisha Parizek, Lilly Parizek, and Grant Parizek. Great grandchildren: Brett, Drew, Leah, Karlie, Cade, Emma, Brady, Logan and Everlee. Sisters and brother in-law: Donna Fischer and Darlene (Harold) Hurda. God daughter Jenny Wasmuth. Nieces and nephews. Gene's faithful dogs: Daisy and Pansy.
