Obituary

Elaine Kittell entered her Heavenly Home on November 29, 2018 at the age of 76. Elaine was born on August 1, 1942 to the late Edmund and Magdeline Dobberpuhl. She was baptized on August 16, 1942. On March 25, 1956 she was confirmed in the Christian faith at Zion Lutheran Church, Morrison by Pastor Henry Koch. Her confirmation verse was Romans 1:16 – "I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes." Elaine was united in marriage to Don Kittell on June 29, 1962. Elaine was an elementary school teacher having served the East De Pere School District for 25 years as well as serving several parochial schools. Her legacy is one of Christian & community service. She was a church organist & choir member for many years. She served the Town of Glenmore in several capacities. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many good friends. Elaine is survived by her husband Don; children Dawn (John) Demeny, and Don Jr. (Betty) Kittell; grandchildren Tiffany Binish, Casey (Tory) Franda, special grandson Cody Kittell; 4 great grandchildren; one sister Doris (Steve) Boehm; one sister-in-law Diane Dobberpuhl . She was preceded in death by one brother Gary Dobberpuhl. Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church 7395 Cty Rd W in Morrison on Sunday December 2, 2018 from 3:00PM – 6:00PM. Visitation will continue after 10:00 AM Monday at the church, until time of service at 11:00AM with Pastor Randy Ott officiating. Burial to take place Monday afternoon at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Shirley. Please go to www.nickelfh.com to send online condolences to the family. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established for WELS Mission, Zion Lutheran Church, or Unity Hospice. Special thanks for prayers and support received from friends and family. Elaine's family would like to express a very special thank you to the entire, wonderful staff at Bellin for the great care given to Elaine and for helping us during this time.
