Angelita A. Genz, 53, Hilbert, passed away on January 7, 2023. She was born December 5, 1969, to Ralph and Barbara (Grant) Smitha at Elgin Air Force Base in Florida. Angelita graduated from Kiel High School with the class of 1989. On March 13, 2004, she was united in marriage to Kenneth T. Genz at Wayside Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading, playing Dungeons and Dragons, bingo and slot machines. What Angelita enjoyed most, however, was time spent with her husband and daughter, Izabella.

Angelita is survived by her daughter Izabella, parents Ralph and Barbara Smitha, and sister Pamela (Tony) Bowe, along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Genz and father-in-law Walter Genz.
